My worst hamburger/cheeseburger (whatever that disgusting thing was) ruined my day and a half. It was in Gdynia, Poland in late 1990s and the taste was beyond bad but I was really hungry.
It was some disgusting piece of unidentified minced swine meat, pickles, enclosed in old bun and filled to the brim with despicable mixture of ketchup and mustard.
A perfect metaphor for what this country was back then. The one meal that described its aspirations and shortcomings.
This pic is some dystopic stuff. How can you eat those fake mixtures full of chemistry? Is this what people in USA eat? Even the bread looks like it would never spoil.
Idk the only jam I eat is one made by my grandma from fruits bought from farmers on the market so there is that. I once tried the supermarket one and they are all horrible and kinda synthetic
I don’t really care if ingredients are theoretically safe no more than I would eat a theoretically nutritious protein powder daily.
I avoid food that was made in factory generally it always feels synthetic and like a cheap, horrible substitute compared to the rich flavour of the real thing.
So it is kind of dystopic for me to see such poor substitute for ‘food’ being the only choice. You could as well as go all in and eat some flavoured nutrient NASA pasta.
What else is fake in this world of ours we don’t even notice anymore? How much fakeness one can take until it’s no longer life but only survival?
It’s her choice what can we really do? It’s tragic but because it is so visible while many others are in this position without such visibility.
I pray I never experience this state of things however at the same time I know I will sooner or later. I sometimes approach the state of insufferable mental torture however it is never permanent or hopeless but I have some tiny glimpse to understand her decision.

I see images when I read ,like in movies’ I see a theatre, someone reading a letter I see old man reading a letter on a xix century chair with a gray beard and cigarette and focused gaze, jumping from image to image like this and more unspecified ‚ideas’. When I solve a problem I usually use those kind of mind lego bricks to build something in mind and test it. It’s all imagination based.
I guess I may like books more than average person. I feel like if reading was accompanied by inner monologue it would be slower instead of just direct words to images so to say but at the same time I often lose details when reading or don’t remember them at all considering the action feels like a movie in the head
I have to read professional books or physics slightly different and often twice same thing but I guess that’s normal when the topic is more complex that it’s hard to form an image connected to the equations and get all these things in head properly connected to form understanding which for me means building some imaginary concept of it from the mind Lego bricks that is logical and won’t collapse. No idea if it is typical way of things or not.

Focus the brain knowing the site was purposefully made to trick you to spend as much time on it as possible and invest as much emotions as possible. On unfriendly territory, a battlefield of digital war, you ought to wear a helmet at least.

There are no official rules, we NT just kinda feel it, like a sixth sense and so because we are the majority and we share this ability no one is even aware of it consciously.
