I’m trying to find a good method of making periodic, incremental backups. I assume that the most minimal approach would be to have a Cronjob run rsync periodically, but I’m curious what other solutions may exist....

Recently got a laptop from a friend after mine got smashed to smithereens. I was going to do a fresh install of my favourite binary distro, Void Linux on it but I recently found out they dropped Monero (and Crypto programs) for ideological reasons....
It is, although my install is a bit funky. Efistub/zfsbootmenu wth native encryption - there’s a few extra steps :-) luckily I have it all written down!
I am more than happy to but I’m not sure if it’s an older version of what I had written up, I’m actually reinstalling on another laptop to test/re-write it and I’d be more than happy to share if it works :P
The paths are slightly different so I made two. Could probably merge it into one pretty easily but I can’t be bothered messing around with variables :)
If it’s stripped screws then maybe try different screw bits? One might get some traction. or maybe try unscrewing it with an elastic band in between that might help.
If that doesn’t work you could try some screw-extracting pliers.
If that really doesn’t work you could also try putting a small dot of superglue on the screw, let the screwdriver head dry in it then try turning it.
If that really, really doesn’t work you could try using a rotary tool/dremel/knife to cut a small line that you could use a flathead to unscrew it with.
Or do you mean like the actual head has come off? :o
Fair, yep I’ve tried a few of those methods in the past, if you’re really worried maybe take it to a specialist? I doubt it would cost much for a quick job. Good luck!
