‘FUCK the LAPD' Shirt Maker's Entire Shop Sold Out After Cops Threaten Him (www.404media.co)

The creator of a “FUCK the LAPD” shirt sold out not only his entire stock of that shirt but also sold out many of his other designs after the Los Angeles Police Department Foundation made an intellectual property threat against them that claimed they owned the letters ‘LAPD.’

Glytch,

Especially the one in the thumbnail, given that it parodies the Lakers logo as well.

Glytch,

I haven’t seen any pro-Trump content making a big dent here (maybe that’s just my experience).

Are you simply classifying any criticism of the sitting president as being automatically pro-trump?

Given your use of “tankie” I’m willing to bet that’s what’s really going on.

Glytch,

Wow look at those goal posts go!

Glytch,

From which ideology has a recipe against fascism to which can indefinitely prevent the rise of a totalitarian regime similar to fascism

Don’t pretend that isn’t moving goal posts just because you don’t like communism and so you hold it to a higher standard than liberalism.

Glytch,

Now we’re adding horseshoe theory to goal post moving? You’re such a good debater and totally worth talking to!

Glytch,

How very non-specific.

Glytch,

Just commenting that “some major cities” is super general especially after they were talking about guns they had supposedly seen personally.

Also is calling them “ghost guns” supposed to make them scarier? Really? “Unregistered firearms” isn’t spooky enough?

Glytch,

The US would invade the Netherlands before we ever allowed a US official to stand trial at the ICJ. That isn’t hyperbole, it’s stated government policy.

Glytch,

Two questions regarding your assertions

  1. What are your sources(assuming they exist) for the estimates on militants killed?
  2. How are your sources (again assuming they exist) defining militants vs civilians?
Glytch,

Regarding your last point: With the various engagement-increasing algorithms driving what information you actually see, it can be a challenge to see outside your own bubble. It takes active effort to not just see your own perspective reflected back at you and that’s by design.

A lot of people won’t engage with content they disagree with and engagement drives ad revenue so it behooves companies that only care about revenue to not challenge a user’s beliefs unless it’s something extreme enough for the user to engage out of rage and disgust (which is how chuds like Andrew Tate get promoted). It’s hard to see the otherside’s genuine viewpoint when it’s constantly filtered through the lens of your own side (or what the algorithm thinks your side is).

Glytch,

Could I duplicate a shoebox full of magic pills?

Glytch,

As someone who doesn’t play games from AAA studios or Early-Access games, I don’t really experience any of these problems.

Glytch,

My backlog is large enough that I can wait to see how a game is when/if it reaches a 1.0 state before deciding to invest any time or money into it.

Glytch,

Nope! A meme is an idea that passes from person to person and evolves as it does. Image macros are simply one form of meme.

Glytch,

You say that with such certainty. Can you prognosticate about other things or just the future of memes?

It already has been passed from person to person. We wouldn’t be talking about it if it hadn’t.

Glytch, (edited )

“Though-terminating” is not necessarily a negative thing.

Like how your boss used it: stop the train of anger and reframe the problem in a more constructive way.

It’s still terminating a thought, it just wasn’t a productive thought and needed terminating.

Edit: typo

Glytch,

Since we’re being pedantic: the word you’re looking for is “written” not “wrote”.

Glytch,

A liberal believes capitalism is broken and needs to be fixed.

A socialist believes capitalism is working as intended and needs to be destroyed.

Glytch,

It do be exactly like that. But your isntreal flag tells me you can’t understand that.

Glytch,

You paying me up front? Those things are twice the price!

Glytch,

They’ve certainly gotten more hostile to mods since the M$ acquisition. At least mods that don’t want to play ball with the creation club nonsense.

Glytch,
  • For Level Two applications that don’t meet the criteria for an award, a refund is issued for the licensing portion of the application fee less any applied discounts. An award is not guaranteed. Marketing and publicty benefits are only extended to applicants who meet the criteria for the award.

Apparently they’ll only feature you if you’re eligible for an award and refund you the enhanced part of the application if you’re product is ineligible. They do have the criteria for eligibility further down the page and it seems pretty open to interpretation.

Glytch,

The company that rented it to you, because fully self-driving cars won’t be for private ownership, they’ll just replace rideshare drivers.

Glytch,

Kaepora Gaebora is wise and has much knowledge to impart upon you. Swapping the “yes” and “no” in the answer to “do you understand” was an intentional punishment for those trying to hurry him.
