For some reason, I've had Cantina Band stuck in my head like an earworm ever since the Star Wars game on Thursday, even though it didn't come up in game. I blame @DiceMonkey .

Day 9- Favorite Dice
Is it fair to ask someone who their favorite child is?
OK, that's overstating it A LOT. I do have a favorite set of dice.
Element dice. The set will likely never be entirely complete due to the volatility & dangerous nature of some of the heavier elements. I also don't play w/them, but they're just so freaking cool. They're as close to 100% of each element as possible. Certain precious metals (Ag, Pt, Au) are plated. I couldn't afford the purer versions.
@genesisoflegend And mercury would be hard to roll. "I poured an 18!"
The unstable, dangerous elements so far, are encased in acrylic. Cerium was originally pure, but it oxidized so badly they had to send everyone new one encased in acrylic.
@genesisoflegend I've never experimented with it to see how's it's weighted. There's a small air bubble with the mercury, so you can see it moving around. It might affect the randomness.
