Broke my foot running June 2022. Stress fracture. Doctors xrayed it in August and ultrasounded it in September and told me essentially that i was faking it. I still had to walk around on it all the time including 15 minutes of my commute to work.
They did a quick MRI in December 2022 and wow, actually it was broken!! Imagine that.
Since it was so fucked up from walking on it for 6 months with no support, they told me that it was finally healing and they couldn’t do much now. Finally was not painful enough to run in April 2023, but we bought a house and started a full strip and renovation.
I finally started running again with my dog after 1.5 years. Only a few times a week for a few km, but it feels good
I mean, it has been well known for a while that ADCs on ESP32s and rp2040s are not great. If you need high precision and accuracy ADCs, you are not using these chips’ ADCs anyway… or if you are, you likely shouldn’t be and should be moving to a custom solution.
Recently jellyfin has added audio and subtitle track delay options. That has been an amazing workaround for all of my subtitle woes because on Chromecast, it will delay more and more until a fixed point. When I find that fixed point (usually 1-3 seconds) then it is perfectly in sync again. Takes 2 seconds to adjust. I wish it was perfectly synced in the firstplace, but this is good in the meantime.

The capitalist system, is by definition, undemocratic. Why should we ever let authoritarian (by definition, capitalist companies are just that, at best an internal oligarchy) entities legally interfere, instruct, and/or intrude on our Democratic system and process???
