I don't think I could ever throw a milkshake at a person. Milkshakes have so much use.

Try a highly watery mud mix. Remind them they are from the Earth and will return to it when they die.

I cannot believe there are still witches out there claiming to be from a long line of “hereditary” witches since before Gerald Gardener. Cringe. I really hope none of the kids are falling for this.

The witch-cult hypothesis has been robustly studied for nearly a century, and has been thoroughly disproven. This is common knowledge within the Pagan community.

There were many growing pains along the way, but now, we've accepted that we are re-creating and re-building paganism inspired by the ancients, not continuing any hidden unbroken traditions. And that's okay. It’s actually really special, being the first in your line, and creating traditions that might last into future generations.

@noam @Cat_LeFey This honestly was similar to what I was going to mention.

I was taught things from my grandparents and great grandparent that were folk practices. It was not an entire dedicated practice like some people claim, but above all else it was the little stories of the folk practices that I could carry in my heart even years later when I studied more and found my practice.

Place glyphs or sigils behind a whiteboard, or a painting in your office that wouldn't be noticed by others.

I have in my office a whiteboard with sigils for memory, attentiveness, and focus, while also having a canvas painting a client once gave me that has glyphs on the back to obscure myself from others prying.

The magic is hidden in plain sight, so I focus that on my intent with the protections, instead of a powerful shield, it is a soft blurring of smoke.

@Cat_LeFey I've known witches who will gladly hex and curse to make people suffer over small slights, but that was a sign of the person more than the practice as a whole. If they are written well, then it is okay, but if it is just that they are a witch so they are evil, then I am disappointed.

@Crazypedia I loved Python's ephem module and a few years back programmed in Kivy a basic GUI for noting which sign the planets were in.

In theory it or even astropy could be used for running an array of locations from date to date, and translate it on a polar grid for the purposes of making an easily traceable line, colored and all

Kivy also does export to apk and is amazing for it.

With spring coming it is getting to be time to reapply my sigils to my plant pots and recharge my tools.

One of the things I'm doing for some plants are warding sigils on the inner edge of my pots with charcoal, while also using some of my leftover moon water from a while back to sanctify the space from disease.
