This is in Minnesota. When I was a kid, I begged my parents to drive to see it. They rented a room at some motel in Bemidji and made a weekend of it. The highlight of my trip was seeing the huge Paul Bunyan and Babe statues.

I thought they were so great and it was like they came to life out of a book, but now that I see them again… holy shit lmao

Yeah, I was on that sub as well, occasionally. I respect Bardfinn, the lead mod of AHS, but they used to tell me that accounts were restored on appeal if moderators retaliated by reporting users for “abusing the report button,” but my appeal was never accepted, and it was a clear instance of mod retaliation. I finally shared that experience when I was on my way out of the site for good.

It still is. I use a custom collection, and adding extensions is a huge pita because you practically have to use Jedi mind tricks to get Mozilla to show all the extensions on Android.

That said, Libredirect works just fine on Fennec once it’s installed.

I’m not entirely sure, but I suspect that part of it is rooted in misogyny and toxic masculinity. They objectify and disrespect the opposite sex, and they think that’s normal and that people of other sexual orientations and genders must do the same.

That’s why often their hate is rooted in fear that gay men will sexually harass/insult them, or trans people will deceive them, because that’s what they’d do if they were us.
