The game engine is licensed as a subscription. When January 1st rolls around and the dev’s meed to renew their subscription it will have these new terms. Their options are to accept this or to never update their games again.
As cheesesteaks go I suggest Lee’s Deli in west Philly, simply the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had. Failing that Carmen’s in reading terminal market in center city is awesome too. If you want a classic, archetypical cheesesteak though, go to any corner pizza shop. I always suggest getting provolone cheese, peppers, onions, and mushrooms.
You should also check out the Bok Bar, a roof top beer garden thing in south Philly walking distance from Pat’s and Geno’s with an outstanding view of the city.
Also in south Philly is “John’s Water Ice” if you want good quality, authentic Philly Italian ice.
While you are at the art museum remember that there are a few other top tier art museums in the area too, like the frankstitute.
If you like nice looking buildings 30th street train station is a really beauty and so is the central library on vine street. The art museum and 30th street station are actually connected by the river path which is a lovely walk.
Speaking of walking take some time to just walk around Rittenhouse (south west end of center city) and/or old city (eastern side of center city) and look at the pretty houses and cute neighborhoods. Some of the finest urbanism in America.

Allow them to allocate some of the savings towards employee salaries? Why would they do that when they could pocket the difference like they have been doing to all other cost savings and productivity boosts?
I’m not an economist but I bet that the answer is going to be similar to how employers now pay for the additional employees to work ever since work weeks got made to be 40 hours and not 60 or whatever back during the 1800s.
Nona was just a shard of Alecto’s soul that came out when Harrow kissed her all those years ago. The full Alecto (aka whatever of Earth’s soul remains after Jod took a bit and put the leftovers in a barbie) is what woke up at the end but harrow.
At birth Harrow had her own soul only (or possibly shrapnel from the child murder that lead to her conception but that seems increasingly unlikely).
At a young age Harrow unlocked the tomb with Gideon’s blood on her fingers. When she kissed Alecto’s frozen corpse she got a little bit of Alecto’s soul stuck in her somehow. Necromancy. BTW, at a similar time commander wake me up in side’s soul ended up in Gideon’s great sword.
After lictoring Gideon Harrow had her soul too and only digested some of it before she lobotomized herself. BTW around this time Commander wake’s soul leaves the great sword and takes over the body of the dead lictor.
At some point near the end of HtN Gideon’s soul takes over harrow’s body and harrow’s soul locks itself away to let Gideon have a turn driving. This lasts about 10min before Gideon gets her ass beaten and her soul comes out in the river. BTW this is where Jod gets her soul for making the tower prince with.
With no one else left in the body the shard of Alecto called Nona takes over. At the end of NtN the shard is reunited with Alecto and Harrow takes back over her own body. For the first time since before GtN everyone’s soul is where it should be except for the part of Gideon’s that harrow ate to become a half lictor.
It is not exactly clear how alecto work up (I personally blame Paul but idk) or how harrow’s soul took back over, but these aren’t huge mysteries.

Union power is on an upswing! The power of capitalism seems unescapable but so to did the divine right of kings! Things were this bad back in the 1920s too but the world didn’t stay broken. Climate change is solvable even if it takes us another 40 years to tackle it in earnest humanity together can do so much more to tackle it than just using high efficiency light bulbs, ya know?
Things are gonna be OK. A greedy ruling class, fascism, it is all stuff that has been dealt with before and will be dealt with again. It might not be great, or even good, but it will be OK.
Even saying that these aren’t new, unique problems might feel like doom and gloom but through cycles of oppression we have still gained ground in terms of health, violence, and social acceptance. It isn’t always 2 steps forward and one step back, not all things move at the same rate (growing support for gay people doesn’t help protect the environment and the back to the office push is actively against it) and there have been a lot of steps sideways (no lead in paint, gas, and pipes is great but forever chemicals and microplastics are a new threat) but really there has been more good than bad and more forward than backwards. No one is trying to drive buffaloes to extinction to genocide the native Americans any more, gay rights!, we saved the ozone layer, women can vote and own property, we forced racists to back off from overt suppression of minorities into less effective suppression that they can plausibly deny, and forced the ruling class to stop running things directly as kings and to work harder to sway things through payoffs and puppets.
We are winning. It isn’t easy, it isn’t all wins, but we win more than we lose and we are going to keep winning more and more. They still haven’t recovered from the magna Carta, let alone the French revolution or the civil rights act and every major victory comes closer after the last with the powers that be recovering less and less between them.
