Per forza la pirateria è in crescita: i cataloghi sono così frammentati che se uno volesse avere a disposizione tutto dovrebbe spendere più di 50€ al mese e questo comprenderebbe solo quei titoli che sono compresi nell’abbonamento, dato che tantissime serie TV e film sono disponibili solo a noleggio o in acquisto (e quindi un altro esborso). A quel punto la scelta più ragionevole è la pirateria. Si mettessero d’accordo, un po’ come Spotify, Deezer, Tidal, YT Music e Apple Music che non hanno grosse esclusive o differenze di cataloghi.

This War of Mine is a great game. It’s frustrating searching homes, making bad decisions (i.e. killing other civilians) and then finding nothing for your home group. It perfectly gives a sense of sadness as a civilian in a war.

I can kinda agree. I mean, I usually play to have fun and blow off the stress of a work day. This War of Mine isn’t good for neither. But it’s an amazing game and I agree, it’s built to make you fail. But how else will it let you feel how civilians feel in a war if it was easy to win?

When mapping street addresses in , the minimum tag you probably need is addr:housenumber and addr:street, or maybe addr:place.

In this example, house numbers 971 and 977 are the only two points actually mapped, and connected by a way tagged with addr:interpolation=odd.

The geocoder still returned the estimated position for the unmapped housenumber, 975.

Address interpolation should be just a preliminary mapping, since it works well only if addresses are equally distributed along the way. But if buildings or entrances are not regular this won’t work.

I agree except for one thing: interpolation is way better than having no address at all. Even if it’s not precise, at least the user can have some routing.

Il CES è quasi riuscito a scacciare la tecnologia del sesso dai suoi show floor

Quest'anno, c'era un assenza importante al : la tecnologia sessuale. Nonostante sia un settore che si rivolge a un’esperienza umana universale, la tecnologia del sesso ha sempre avuto una difficile associazione col CES.

Questa vistosa assenza fa sorgere la domanda: perché siamo ancora così pudicamente resistenti all’integrazione di tecnologia e intimità?

Che l’industria del sesso sia florida è indubbio, ma qui non si parla di tutta l’industria, ma solo di una nicchia, quella principalmente legata all’elettronica, che al CES potrebbe non avere molta attrattiva (non conosco l’utente medio del CES). E, proprio perché è a Las Vegas, non credo proprio che sia proibizionismo.

Può essere, ma resta comunque probabile che la motivazione sia il mancato introito dai panel legati al sesso. Non sempre serve la politica, se basta il denaroa spiegare.

Capisco benissimo il tuo discorso e non te ne faccio una colpa, uno deve sentirsi di fare quello che vuole. La mia era un provocazione a cercare di interagire anche in italiano, così che magari possa ingranare anche in italiano.

Poi ci sta anche che certi argomenti non possano essere abbastanza frequentati da necessitare un sublemmy dedicato: se reddit era di nicchia in Italia, Lemmy è ancora più di nicchia e trovare qualcuno che sia interessato alle stesse cose in qualcosa così oscuro è difficile, anche per quello per il momento proliferano maggiormente i sublemmy “generalisti”. Ma siamo ancora all’inizio, chissà come andrà in futuro.
