Don’t they do both? Like they have the big-logo stuff for the wannabes that is just overpriced H&M, but don’t they also make actual nice suits and stuff.
I’m swimming-with-mermaids delighted to reveal the cover of my next solarpunk mystery novel, Missing Mermaid. Right now I’m deciding how best to arrange the text on the cover. Do you recommend option one (author name on her tail) or option two (author name and title both up in the sky)?...
Not great to be honest. Recently I’ve had a number of issues with work, some of them my fault some not, from “funny” moments to being threatened with physical violence and the worst customer complaint I ever got, which was unjustified and basically down to that customer being a crazy old lady.
I think I’m about to tell my biggest client I’m moving on from working with them so I can focus my business on other things and it’s stressing me out, kind of the same feeling as when you have to dump your first girlfriend and scared of what’s gonna come next but know you have to.
Didn’t need a study to notice this, the difference between when I was a kid and now is stark, used to be the car would be covered in them by the time we got to vacation, now it’s clean as a whistle.
Yep my wife likes these games so I usually get it for her but only 6 month/a year later when there’s good sales. Personally I lost interest after Odyssey (which I loved), I’m just waiting for one set in Japan!
I always thought I’d enjoy that job, specifically at a somewhat nice hotel. I like making drinks and hotel seems like it would be mostly drama-free, or at least not the same as a dive bar. You liking it?
I feel like it leans more into the latter as a kind of tech industry comedy. It stars Rob McElhenney who played Mac in It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and I feel like a lot of the humor his character adds is present in Mythic Quest....
Yeah I’ve started it because of this post and I like it because it has all the ingredients for me (office life I can laugh at now that I’m out of it, MMORPG to relive my glory days from WoW, great actors I love, etc), but it’s definitely missing the special sauce that made these two other shows much more special, it’s hard to pinpoint exactly though.
I don’t think an English breakfast prepared at home like I do it (read: like a heretic) is that unhealthy, but I only do parts (eggs, toast, beans, bacon) and don’t fry anything… But what you get served in a public establishment is probably 1500+ calories just from all the oil.
Verily, when one doth profess concern for the welfare of vegans, yet doth engage in mockery and jest regarding their potential dearth of sustenance, 'tis most probable that such a one harbors no genuine care for the vegan’s well-being. 'Tis indeed vexatious and perturbing, if truth be told.
