In general I wouldn’t recomend a titan x unless you already have one because it’s been deprecated in cuda, so getting modern libraries to work will be a pain.

Antivirus doesnt work. It would need to monitor the whole system all the time, making it like twice as slow. How do you “stop” such a malware? You cant even uninstall xz without borking systemd.
Using SELinux especially for user programs, downloading only from trusted repos, having home non-executable apart from that and using a nonwheel user is the best you can do. Apart from using a hardened base Distro, like Secureblue, QubesOS or Tails.

Berlin. Der AfD-Bundestagsabgeordnete Thomas Seitz aus Südbaden hat seinen Austritt aus der Partei und Bundestagsfraktion erklärt. Er trete mit Wirkung zum 31. März aus, teilte Seitz am Sonntag auf seiner Internetseite und seinen Social-Media-Kanälen mit. Es gehe ihm ausdrücklich nicht um einen Rechtsruck in der AfD, sagte er zu den Beweggründen für seinen Schritt. Er hadere damit, wozu sich die Partei entwickelt habe und sprach von einem „System Günstlingswirtschaft“. Ausschlaggebend für den Austritt war demnach der Sonderparteitag der AfD in Baden-Württemberg Ende Februar. Seitz vertritt den Wahlkreis Emmendingen-Lahr.
Bereits während des Parteitags habe er das dringende Bedürfnis gehabt, sofort aus der Partei auszutreten, habe dies aber über Wochen zurückgestellt und sei immer noch innerlich zerrissen. „Aber das vorherrschende Gefühl ist immer noch das des puren Ekels vor meiner eigenen Partei, für die ich seit 10 Jahren den Kopf hinhalte“, sagte Seitz.
Parteitag in Baden-Württemberg mit Chaos und Tumult
Der Parteitag der AfD Baden-Württemberg am 24. und 25. Februar in Rottweil war von Chaos und Tumult geprägt. Im Landesverband tobt ein Machtkampf zweier Lager. Die Vorstandsmitglieder stritten auf offener Bühne darüber, ob die Veranstaltung abgehalten werden kann. Es standen im Saal zu wenig Plätze zur Verfügung. In der Stadthalle kam es zu tumultartigen Szenen, Buhrufen, sogar zu einer Art Hammelsprung: Alle Anwesenden mussten zunächst noch mal aus der Halle raus, um die, die nicht stimmberechtigt sind, auszusortieren.
So als wäre nichts gewesen, sei dann ein zweiter Parteitag aufgetan worden, um zu wählen und die Satzung zu ändern, sagte Seitz. Das Führungsduo - der Bundestagsabgeordnete Markus Frohnmaier und der Landtagsabgeordnete Emil Sänze, beide Vertreter des Lagers um AfD-Chefin Alice Weidel - hatten sich bei der Wahl im Amt behaupten können. Seitz spricht in seiner Erklärung von einem „Putsch der Vorsitzenden“.

Der AfD-Bundestagsfraktion gehören mit seinem Abgang noch 77 Abgeordnete an. Gestartet war sie nach der Bundestagswahl 2021 mit 82 Mandatsträgern. Mehrere Politiker haben aus verschiedenen Gründen inzwischen die Fraktion verlassen. Seitz betonte, dass er als fraktionsloser Abgeordneter sein Mandat weiter wahrnehmen werde.

I think Strawberry is one of the best currently active players on Flathub at least, and I didnt use Amarok. From videos it looks pretty great and way better than Strawberry though.

Mailbox.org is nice and has calendar which works with TB. They also have tons of aliases in the 3€/mo plan, temporary addresses, enforced TLS encryption domain etc.

Just download the devel kernel from your distro and go into make menuconfig. I am on an Intel Laptop with recent hardware. No reason to use amd, nvidia etc drivers. And there is a shitload of likely unmaintained drivers for ancient hardware.
