This playlist barely scratches the surface of the incredible albums he worked on. And it doesn’t even include music from his own bands - Acerbic punk from Big Black, minimalist rock from Shellac, and the other one I won’t name because Albini was also a cantankerous man and truthfully a bit of a dick.

Swift concurrency update: I refactored my concurrent code, and it is now exactly 0x faster than my original implementation. So I am either much better at programming than I thought, or just as bad as I thought.
This was my second attempt at refactoring, the first was 3x slower, so I’m going to go out on a limb and say my first attempt was actually alright.

@chbeer I believe this is normal in the US. They have started doing this in the UK in the last year or so.
I suspect it’s a ploy to sell more of their creepy doorbells.
