Finally had time to defeat the Elite Four and become Champion in Pokémon Shining Pearl. It's the first time I've ever fully finished a Gen 4 game as any other time I started I found it so slow and boring.
This remake was much better with the usual QOL improvements like EXP share etc. However, the Pokédex is still terrible, way too many Pokémon locked to post game.
For once the Nintendo store's "register your interest" thing worked for me as I've been able to preorder a copy of the Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition Deluxe Set that comes with all those cool extras and a physical version of the game of course.
Had so many instances in the past where I had registered my interest but then never got the follow up email and missed out on their limited editions. It's nice to have it finally work. #Nintendo

@OutofPrintArchive@SimonSays Agreed. I have taken to just ordering the SRG games sight unseen because they have proven to be pretty good at selecting them. I have discovered and really enjoyed a lot of games I bought from them that I otherwise would not have known about. Webbed, Book of Demons, Tatarus Key, Islets to name a few.

I've never caught a Heracross this early in a playthrough before.
