    TRANS FEM FRIENDS: What do you wish you could say to the person you were before transition who thought it was impossible to ever actually be a girl or be fem?

    I sometimes think back and find myself at a loss at what would have supported that girl best. She was so sad, hopeless, and often dissociated or in fight/flight/freeze/fawn over her distress with how she felt like she couldn't fit in the world. And like, I know "it gets better" or "it really is possible" wouldn't have gotten through.

    I talk to a lot of young trans folks who go through this still every day, and so would appreciate others thoughts on this!

    @dgoldsmith @ErinInTheMorn such bills doesn't violate the Principles of Yogyakarta?
    The USA sign it? Or, at least, its source treaty? Because it was signed by Americans specialists.
    Why the USA don't follow it? It's a clear violation of the Human Rights under the Principles of Yogyakarta.

    I feel like in kinda a lie, I should detransition for the sake of the community. I fear I look so bad I could legit turn people away from supporting trans people. I started puberty at like 11 so it was far too late.

    @skymtf I think it's my duty to say it's never too late.
    I started transitioning at 37-38, about 4 years ago, first by DIY, then medically advisedly.
    I indeed regret that I didn't did it sooner, but I'm still confident it was the right move.
    I'm still in the closet for the majority, but I hope that until the end of the year I would be out for everyone go give.
    Give a little time for it. Don't give so much importance to what others can think, but valorize more what you feel.
    Transition is something you do for yourself, not for everyone else.
    You are not a lie.
    You are important to our community.
    And remember, it's never too late to be yourself.
