Some guy at the park. 1-4/8

The man on the bench gets up and approaches the blonde man. He shoves a couple of bills into the blonde man's hand while saying, "Here's a little something to incentivize you to keep your little mouth shut." The blonde man stares at the bills and notices it's just two dollars.
The blonde man returns the money saying, "I can't even buy a burrito with this! I don't want it." The man with the bird remarks that the blonde man wants something more and tells him to step into his office while gesturing to the park bench. The blonde man is confused and asks if the other man is homeless. The other man denies this.
The two men sit on the park bench together quietly until the blonde man breaks the silence. "So what're you doing here?" The other man replies, "Just hanging out with my pals!"

The other man quotes the saying, "Finders keepers, losers weepers." in defense of his acts. He claims that his birds contribute to the cleaning of the streets. He claims the lost funds finds a new home with him. The blonde man asks him how he uses the funds. The other man says he buys food for the birds. The blonde man interjects that he finds this a creative form of stealing. The other man continues to deny it and goes on to describe how he is able to buy the birds human produced goods in order to fulfill their desire for more food.
The blonde man asks the other man how he got the birds to do that. The other replies, "I asked them." The blonde man says, "It's that simple, huh." Three panels shows the blond man saying nothing while the other man sits impatiently and expectantly. When he does not get the type of reply he wants he blurts out, "I can talk to birds! Are you impressed?" The blond man swiftly says no.
The other man asks why the blonde man isn't impressed. The blonde man replies that he doesn't believe him while laughing. The other man says he should believe him. He reminds the blonde man that he saw the bird give him money. The blonde man says it could have been a trick. The blonde man reflects on what a useless superpower talking to birds is. The other man says he will regret those words once the birds reclaims the Earth from humans. The blonde man reminds the other man is also human and will likely suffer the same fate. The other man pouts and claims he will be spared since he feeds the birds.

I have always found foliage to be difficult to approach. Leaf brushes leave a lot to be desired. I end up hand painting a ton of leaves in order to feel any measure of satisfaction lol.

@Hika It was a 4.8 earthquake that lasted like 20 seconds. It was a lot of swaying and radiators jangling but nothing worse than that where I am. I remember an earthquake like this years ago but this one was notably much stronger.

@Hika I made it on Clip studio Paint! I downloaded a single pixel brush and some tone brushes... I can't remember what brushes I used but there are a lot on the csp assets store https://assets.clip-studio.com/en-us/search?word=pixel&order=dl I think the canvas for this one is like 100x100 pixels or something. I blew it up using hard edges scaling to a bigger size which preserves the pixels square shape.

@Hika Oh I love this take. I like how it looks like a cover of a light novel. That didn't even occur to me as a choice. Everyone's characters look great and I love Hikarii (who is you?!? How do i refer to this character) has such a cool expression and pose that feels "heroic"
