In particular the lack of totally normal window management in lieu of this awful "full screen takeover tab" thing, weird decisions around dock/top tab, and personally that the default important key for everything is one off of what I've used for the past 6 years (ctrl) (yes this is me outing myself as a non-maps-ctrl-to-capslock developer)

People in the fire community (financial independence / early retirement) really over-estimate their ability to do blue collar work when they say stuff like ‘I’ll just barista fire’ (work as a barista after I retire)

Have you made coffee? Do you like coffee? Are you sure you can be hired to make it?

So many tech professionals have no idea what service work is, or how they are profoundly unsuitable to it
