My Saturday: 4:30am to 6am is for catching up on toots. 6am to 10am is for scanning negs, coding, etc. 10am to 11am is for grocery shopping to make tonight’s chopped cheese. 11am to 3pm is for yard work. 3pm to 4pm is for cleaning up and cooking. 4pm to 5pm is cocktail hour. 5pm to 6pm is for dining. 6pm to 9pm is for card games. 9pm to 10pm is for winding down. 10pm Zzz.

Browsing my Mastodon feed inside of @Flipboard is a fun experience. It reminds me a bit of @pipilo. Intentional, big, and immersive. The opposite of doom scrolling. We have many great options to view all of the amazing art, music, poetry, thoughtful discourse, photographs, and so much more across the fediverse. 👏

Eclipse road trip: Phase 1

In PA for the night, heading to Syracuse tomorrow. That’ll put us in the path of totality, but the cloud forecast is looking dicey. The plan is to head northeast from there on Monday morning to get as far away from the clouds as possible.

I’ve only spent a day writing rust, but I’m already really enjoying it. If I continue with it for a while longer, I want to really understand things like the borrow checker, and more of the rust-specifics that I haven’t encountered yet. But for small/simple command-line tools, it seems great!

@siracusa Thank you for sharing your window management techniques. I've mostly adopted them since watching the ATP Special and I'm really loving my computing experience. I know I'm saving time. Simple things like having Terminal's command history is a huge win. Also, muscle memory is building and I'm getting even faster. My computer was far more capable than I thought. Now I allow my OS to manage its resources instead of feeling like I need to. Productivity!
