@tk eeeh it can work in a lot of cases. I don't think one is really better than the other, I'm just really tired of companies feeling they need to switch to 3D for seemingly no reason and then it looking soulless and lifeless because it's a lot harder to convey that with 3D models, probably also destroys their budget too.

I haven't done a follow up yet on the budget Motorola phone I got for like £70 new.

Don't buy it.

Because it's slow? Nope, I mean it's not blazing fast but it's not unusable.

Bad screen? Wrong again perfectly fine.

Crap camera? Nope it's fineish.

Because it runs Android Go? Nope it's actually surprisingly OK.

@coolboymew I basically stopped buying new phones once I cracked my Pixel 5’s screen and realised it would cost more to get it fixed then to buy another refurb. I just found one on Amazon that had really good support Lineage for like 1/5th of the cost of the repair.

I know it’s risky because no official security updates but if I got any of the new phones that are reasonably priced I’d be stuck on the stock ROM and would have my nudes sent to the alphabet boys anyways so honestly I’m willing to take the risk. :lain-sad:

WB is deleting years of community building and history instead of transferring ownership to the IP holders, and demanding any republish remove references to WB, including staff, who worked on the games, erasing the records of their contributions. @yon @neatchee I just don’t get why they don’t just press the three buttons to transfer the game though, when they already explained the conditions that would need to be met to keep it on Steam. It still sucks but at least they wouldn’t be fucking over everyone involved. Then again I’m not a Dev so I’m sure there’s probably an element to this that I’m missing.

@yon @neatchee But in the article it’s explained that that’s not even the case the games are going to end up on Steam anyways, they’re just shooting these indie devs in the foot for literally no reason. Sure, I get that they don’t want their logo on it but they could simply force them to remove it before transferring it. :kaguya_confuse:

Maybe I am putting too much faith into them though I guess they are just genuinely that cartoonishly evil but I always assumed that most of the evil corpos commit was to make money in some way. Recently though it seems to also be an ego thing as well though I guess? Either way I am still very much confused by this.

I probably won’t buy anything Nintendo related anymore. I’m just really annoyed by their constant consumer hostile practices. It feels like they’re spending way more money on ruining things for everyone over actually improving their games and I just don’t feel interested in playing their games anymore because of it.

This isn’t even just because of the Yuzu thing, it’s just the straw that broke the camel’s back.
