I wanted to do a bit of coding, so I opened up my recent project where I was building my blog in 11ty, just to see if there was anything obvious I could work on.

After two hours, the only change I managed was to generate nice looking excerpts for title-less posts so they could look good on the archive page. 😅

Looks like a day of chores and WoW Plunderstorm for me today.

I have 9 chores I want to get done. So my plan is 1 chore per hour, and playing Plunderstorm within the gaps. 😅

@andyn yeah I'm really enjoying it at the moment! I'm not really interested in the rewards it gives you outside of Plunderstorm at the moment, but maybe that will happen later.

@andyn I agree. I'm hoping if they see a good reaction from people, they will consider either bringing it back with different themes. Or maybe even long-term, making it a standalone game.

@rowan_johnson Yep! I think they seem to forget about the affect their rules have on actual people/small businesses when they go after these big corporations sometimes.

@vincentritter I think that’s when the slow decline in interest happened for me as well, although the last few years have been where I’ve really started to not care about Apple.

One of my biggest annoyances with the iPhone/iOS is other apps (maybe the system?) changing the volume by itself.

Sometimes I’ve been in an app that wasn’t playing video/audio, opened control centre, dragged the volume to the bottom, only to see it go 10% back up immediately.

@cliophate I’ve found it to be just inconsistent enough for me to not be able to work out what the cause is.

I've unintentionally had around a month away from (most) social media, blogging, my RSS reader, and most things online.
And although I'm currently going through the hundreds of items in my RSS reader, and working out if there's anything I want to read, I can't say it's affected me that much.
Ever since turning 30, I've noticed myself slowly moving away from my previous desire to be always online.
