Does launching a build with the debugger attached on Vision Pro take forever for anyone else? It's near instant on the simulator, but even after the data is transferred to the device, the actual launch screen hangs out for like 10 seconds (so I don't think dev strap would help?)
After drawing on my iPad screen for years and getting jittery lines, this video and the fact it was my screen protector blew my mind. Is there a screen protector that doesn't do this? And isn't matte, because despite drawing nice those destroy the colors
For the "don't use a screen protector crowd", on one of my iPads I don't, and now it has a little scratch on the screen that makes my brain cry every time the pencil snags on it when drawing. I can't live that life ;_;
@jeffkibuule When I was building out Apollo's iPad app I ended up slowly acquiring the mini, the 11", and the 12.9”, so I have kind of a silly setup now where I just choose the best one for the task. Each one is so great in its own way!
Choosing a travel backpack is really hard, and I still haven't found one I love, so mostly for my own reference I wrote a long post with thoughts on pretty much every travel backpack out there https://christianselig.com/2024/04/choosing-a-backpack-is-hard/
@joshwayne Ah fair, I find in most of the bucket style bags if I just put my laptop on top of the pile of clothes and cubes it feels weirdly aggressive on the laptop (especially when trying to close a really stuffed bag), and if I put it on the bottom it's a pain to access. I'm really hoping Tom Bihn makes a Technonaut 40 with a good water bottle holder
The wildest bag someone recommended from this post is the TomToc Navigator. It's 40L, but only weighs 2.8 lb, has water bottle holders, compression straps, great laptop/iPad compartment, and one massive clamshell bucket for clothes. And it's only $80, which concerningly cheap
@Porgey I love the design of it, I just can't get past the weight, it weighs so much more than anything else on the market (even other bags that are considered heavy) so I can only assume it's made of wood
@justin@monorailtimes Yeah that definitely looks like their best water bottle holder, I just wish the bag was 35-40 instead of 45 which feels just a bit too big for me
