Learning some basic 3D modeling has been such a fun hobby. Needed something to hold tennis balls since mine came in a cardboard box, so I quickly put together something fun 😊 https://makerworld.com/en/models/445402

@sanguish Most still still do, but you can buy more environmentally friendly types of balls that use better materials and cardboard packaging, I really like the Wilson Triniti line

@Lobrien I use Fusion, and drew a hexagon then used the rectangular pattern tool to duplicate it on a 2D plane, and then used the circle pattern tool to rotate that 2D pattern around the cylinder

Playing around with a Meta Quest 3 version of my Vision Pro stand, and I want a flourish on top to differentiate them, but I can't decide if I prefer the inset or raised sensors. What do you think?

Blender folks: I have a 180° frame from YouTube that I want to stretch inside a half-sphere to make it 180° immersive. The image is rectangular, so I'm struggling with the UV map since unwrapping a sphere cuts the corners off, and scaling it up loses the spherical effect. How would you reconcile that?
