Getting a new #Thinkpad laptop shortly. I wonder if I should stick with #Linuxmint Cinnamon or go with another #Linux distribution.

TIL: if you use #vim to edit a file requiring root as normal user and ":w" obviously fails you can use :w !sudo tee % to store it without redoing your changes.
@wfaler Agreed when it comes to replies. However I want my (initial) posts being sent to both since it seems my bubbles are split between the two services - now even more since Elon is getting closer to complete fuckup.
