davidgro,

I got ‘lucky’ and guessed the 4th word first (after misspelling it a bunch and looking up the correct way) which cleared letters to find word 2, then eventually 3, then 1 was easy. I can easily see it taking over an hour if I hadn’t guessed that longest one first.

This was my second time playing this.

davidgro,

Not that it affects me, but is there already a ksetwacom planned?

davidgro,

Speaking of details wrong:

most downloaded local news app

  • 50,000,000+ downloads

Meanwhile Google News (which does local):

  • 1,000,000,000+ downloads
davidgro,

I’d double my gas usage during the week

More likely power bill I’d think - I haven’t heard of anyone working on an autonomous gas powered car or even hybrid. Also a few states won’t even be allowing sales of gas cars in 11 years

davidgro, (edited )

True.

I just thought of a potential partial solution:
There could be companies that rent spaces in parking lots (with charging) specifically for automated cars, located just outside cities and commercial/industrial areas. Might even be useful to people in apartments or otherwise without a place to charge at home.

These would be closer to where the car needs to go later than all the way back home, and ideally on lower traffic routes.

davidgro,

Now dirt will get into your eyes and close them again.

the return of Creme Savers

Now that gets my attention.

I do feel bad for EverydayAstronaut (Tim Dodd) - he really deserved this flight.

Edit: And the other crew as well of course, I just am not as familiar with them.

davidgro,

But since it takes 10% of the space (vram, etc.) sounds like they could just start with a larger model and still come out ahead

davidgro,

Yeah, saw a neat looking cat toy in an ad, and bought it.

It was an ad for a motorized ball about as big as a golf ball, lights up and kinda rolls/jumps around on its own as long as the cats nudge it. Eventually sleeps when they stop playing with it.

It is exactly as advertised, but the cats are only kinda interested in it. We still recharge it and put it out for them occasionally.

davidgro,

I’ve seen that happen for open source stuff

davidgro,

Naturally. They have lots of those

davidgro,

I was recently on a flight where the first landing attempt was aborted due to low visibility and we looped around (the entire Metro area) to try again. After the second attempt succeeded there was indeed clapping.

davidgro,

Feature request: Describe each app. At least what it does (beyond just the category)

davidgro,

Those comments in the tracker section are good, just a one line summary kind of thing for all of them would be a nice improvement.
I’m not asking for full F-Droid information (but if you want to include it, maybe put it in a tap-to-show sliding thing (sorry, I don’t do web dev) )

davidgro,

Agreed. But in this specific case it’s frustrating.

davidgro,

That would be awesome. He should totally go for it: claim the court isn’t legitimate or binding or whatever, and just try to ignore it.

davidgro,

It does feel that way, but…

“Linux 4.20 was released on Sun, 23 Dec 2018”

About 5.5 years.

davidgro,

I get the same training even as a low level grunt.

I kinda get it though, easier to just say ‘everyone take this’ than try and determine who does and doesn’t work with people outside the company (and in some contacts I’ve had with my same job title, I did send and receive messages to other companies via bug reports)

davidgro,

So now we can have an Android port of the “I am rich” app.

davidgro,

Zero time and also zero distance due to length contraction
