I want a portable dual screen Switch, or something else completely different, Nintendo has amassed enough money for fun experiments even if they fail. Time to reinvent the space again.

Helldivers not requiring the 2nd account to play on Steam is a big win, I honestly dislike having to create new account to play a game. But this was a massive amount of stress/ pressure on devs by a publisher request. Unfortunately many hate being sent, so now send all the love.

@eliocamp from what I've searched there is no better alternative at the moment, google just has way too much data at this point for anything else to pick up fast. but there are things improving, like Synology Photos etc

desktop OS are still terrible at cleaning up leftovers of uninstalled software, there's just way too many places apps have permissions to write into I guess. always a bunch of time to track and delete them.

kinda messed up situation because customers are rightfully upset, but we know it's the publisher pushing this, but devs will feel the pain.

@hellpie get your point, but I read that as a “sorry we can’t do anything, we just want to make a good game”. I doubt it would go well with publisher if they publicly said they were trying to reverse things without checking with them first. It’s a lot of “politics”, most times it can cost the jobs of a lot of people to go against publishers.

honestly thought Sony would reverse the whole thing on Monday, not a double down over the weekend. Removing the game from Steam in countries PSN doesn’t exist. @robinaite ok, I had to look and this is the only "notice", that part you showed is further down the page, so in this case it's a lot of fault on Steam page layout, not all on devs. but I feel like that should be near the buy button or in the notice.

a long time ago, for a brief period of time, there were 4 main consoles, Dreamcast, Xbox, PS2 and GameCube. You had to be there, this was an era full of games doing all sorts of mind-blowing things.

@Haijo7 do you have links on that? I know dreamcast ran windows, but from all I've read about Xbox was that after DirectX debut in 95, it was all decks on trying to push DirectX, because windows wasn't as popular for gaming, in 98 they came up with the idea of the DirectX Box, inspired by consoles etc. Not saying what you said isn't true, but I want to read on that.
