I just ‘deactivate’ people that share news on facebook. I use FB to give my family (who don’t live near me) and friends a small slice of what’s going on in my world. I don’t post daily/weekly but I only post stuff I create. I also use it for groups/market place since most forums went to FB groups.
I expect the same from my connections, and unfollow anyone that just forwards things (news, memes, other posts). This little bit of management has made my FB feed ‘ok’
An unknown number of orcas have sunk a yacht after ramming it in Moroccan waters in the strait of Gibraltar, Spain’s maritime rescue service has said, in the latest in a series of similar incidents involving the animals....
Well I’m interested in this world (sailing/ living on a sailboat) so I’ve been following fairly close. I don’t believe there’s any known non aggressive way to stop them. Stopping hasn’t been shown to help that I’ve heard/seen
Did it this last cycle. Didn’t renew, don’t miss it. In fact the announcement of adding more ads into the video service I didn’t want, but had to pay for to get prime lead to me just leaving.
I’m ok that they show their true colors. Let’s hope that the majority of Americans in her district have higher moral values and vote her awful ass out.
Among AARP survey findings: 61% of Americans 50 and up are worried they won’t have enough money for retirement. And only 21 percent of people have a retirement plan....
So the irony in this story is that, not exaggerating, I have 100,000+ mi of two-wheel riding under my belt and I do ride with a Gore-Tex jacket and have the matching pants with me on the motorcycle but only wear the pants if the threat of rain gets near, or I’m out riding aggressively since the pants do have additional protection, but are hot!
This was a unfortunate, set of circumstances that caused me to get wetter than I ever have. Shortly before the rain, I got stuck in traffic and was unable to make it to an overpass before a huge downpour.
I am currently commuting 3 days a week about 62 miles a day on my ST-1300. Infact, she just crossed 50k miles a couple weeks ago.
Ya, I have not commuted to work on my bike this much in a while. The suit I have does go over my clothes but is tight at the pants. I do have some rain pants (cheaper plastic) that would probably fit my bill for this situation.
Trips I just wear the whole suit (and zip the top/bottom together), but will just have shorts on which makes it fit much better.
My suit is a Rev’it Poseidon. And is probably 10yo now!
Smells like another test that’ll end in a year or so leaving the Tablet to rot.
I still have one actively used Nexus 7 in my house. Used as a weather station display on our countertop.
Probably wouldn’t buy another Google tablet until it was well established a generation or two in. Certainly know better than to early adopt anything they put out.
Sounds like this would at the very least remove $20-30m in revenue (according to the article) not counting if the copyright holders decide to go after them.
I think it puts them in a precarious situation overall.
I’m lucky enough to not have to drive my fun car in inclimate weather which for sure includes winter.
My truck has all seasons but is 4wd so it’s ok. We do not live where the roads get/stayed covered in snow so there’s not a huge need for seasonal tires unless your using high performance tires that suck below 50°f
But 100% if you live where snow/ice is on the road for a large portion of winter, winter ties make a difference.
Probably too late for now but if you ever have a big spray foam job in the future :)
Best thing I found for spray foam is the reusable sprayer that you screw larger cans on.
It’s soooo much better. I was sealing up everything I could in the basement before drywall went up.
We had a radon mitigation system installed after discovering ours was quite high. The guy that came had one of these guns to seal up all the cracks in the floor
Great stuff Pro 14. It’s $60 bux but is a game changer. You can store the connected can on it for 30 days it says. They have a spray can of cleaner to clean it after your done.
I’m sick of random capitalisations mid sentence. I’m sick of common words being replaced by less common ones or even downright nonsense. I’m sick of it taking three attempts to successfully get the word I want. I swear it’s been like this for five years or more. Can we have a better version yet, or at least the old one...

I have wondered for a while if both the predictive and spelling ‘help’ these keyboard provide are getting broken because they’re integrating “what most people do” to your phone.
autocorrect is like downright scary now. you have to double, triple check what you typed is what WAS typed.
Disabling autocorrect showcased how bad I am at phone typing. But I have to be very mindful of what is actually corrected and corrected to. Especially in sms where there’s no easy edit
