We released vite-plugin-svelte 2.4.0 today as unbundled javascript with jsdoc type annotations.

Not only is it easier to develop and debug, but it's smaller now too:

Version 1.4.0: 630kb (166kb tgz)
dual cjs+esm bundled package including sources, sourcemaps and types.

Version 2.3.0: 360kb (95kb tgz)
esm-only bundled package including sources, sourcemaps and types

Version 2.4.0: 115kb (33kb tgz)
esm-only package including sources and types

80% smaller.

I remember seeing a chart/site somewhere comparing adoption of major framework versions based on npm downloads, e.g. React 16 vs 17 vs 18 or Svelte 3 vs 4 vs 5. Anyone have a link to it?

I don't think it was just frameworks, but other packages like Redux or routers as well.
