@hotdogsladies I feel this needs to be the replacement show art for all of your shows. At least for a week. And maybe make a show to discuss the genius that was both your prompt, and this amazing piece!
Also, I feel the chainsaw has a very interesting back story.
I’ve gotten this excessive heat warning every day for a few days now, all projected for later in the week. Yeah, I get it, but also: it’s Phoenix, we all know it gets hot here. One alert is enough, I don’t need multiple reminders about the same warning.
@rscottjones I love how get warnings now, but come July they skip even though it’s going to be in the 11x and above. It’s like they warn us now and later we should know. lol
@LoneLocust I figured as much, but the folks that I have to talk to don’t understand logic or rules, so I need pretty pictures and easy to understand generalizations. 😎😅
Had a fun time barhopping with some friends yesterday, a belated celebration of my wife’s birthday. It’s also the first (and much needed) “out with friends” time I’ve gotten since my dad died.
Our first stop was The Perch, a fun #brewery that doubles as an exotic bird rescue. Our second stop, The Sleepy Whale, is one of our favorite taprooms. We rounded out the day with stops at QuartHaus and Pedal Haus Brewing. #beersofmastodon#chandler#arizona
As I watched this ad, my first thought was, “WTF?” But about halfway through, I realized it was being compressed INTO an iPad. “OK, I get it…”
But
The misstep to me is that the items are (a) obviously being destroyed and (b) leaking out and therefore escaping being part of the iPad. The iPad is therefore less than the sum of the parts.
Also, the rubber ball face doesn’t look happy being squished.
