My local library has outsourced its website to bibliocommons and every page is taking at least a minute to load. It would take less time to get in my car and drive to the library to get an interlibrary loan started. In fact, I’m not sure I even can initiate an interlibrary loan on this new website.

I’ve investigated a few ship/bridge allisions in my career, but the scale of the Key Bridge collapse is just overwhelming. I don’t remember the design rules for the structures that are meant to fend off vessels, but I doubt they were written for ships of this size.
