the local GP practice was bought by a city centre one who've been slowly closing it down. now have to go into city centre for annual blood pressure check for medication. except they've also relocated their city centre practice to a posh bit so it's a not-cheap 36 minute bus ride in with a not-short walk either side and then more walking to get to any shops i can afford. i don't have the energy for this.
at least two other neighbouring practices have closed too, options to change are limited

I love how resourceful Fa is, she's more than book-smart. Prim does a great job with the character too. Every emotion tracks with the situation she's in. I know others will focus on the interesting mystery of Ajin but for me this will always be Fa's story.

i went out to the darkest area i can manage to get to in hopes of seeing aurora. saw some clouds coloured by light pollution and some interesting shades of blue amongst other clouds and i have a headache because my ears got too cold (10 C stupid ears)

there are two mental health things going on which affect each other but have different causes.
one is the seeming return of something i thought was gone. i don't know why.
the other is understanding my current reaction to two lifelong problems more clearly, feeling like i should try again to fix them but also knowing both are immensely costly high-odds gambles (emotional as well as physical energy) which have never worked out before.
i don't have the resilience to buffer more failure.

Every one of my identity groups is blamed for the world's evils by someone - disabled blamed for being a drain on society, antisemitism coming out from under the rug where it's been lurking since horrors swept it under, and of course cis white middle-aged women, like we were all that resented teacher or something.

i finally figured out what i want in writing software.
two modes - one standard word processing and the other sort of like cards which can be rearranged freely but can be collapsed/expanded easily. Collapsed for big picture re-organising/moving about and expanded so it's also easy to read what's in that bit. Multiple colour-coding too.
Toggle from cards to standard for reading the whole thing through.
Trying to do this through index cards etc sort of works but adds faff.

@himboluigi i forgot to thank you for encouraging me to watch Enchante. will finish it tonight/tomorrow. it's a great character for Force and i especially like the way they just revert to 10 year olds in the first episodes :) i would have been very happy with 10 episodes of that + Egg and sure, throw in the rest of the boys to entertain the fandom.

would be a good one for a sick in bed watch, where the plot holes don't matter :D
