Parker Posey has endless energy. That one actor in it, the falafel cart guy, is some super rich dude IRL who has never been in anything else after this. Such a weird and fantastic movie.

📰 The Kansas Reflector is one of my local newspapers, and I have friends I met via Twitter years ago who work there. When we talk about and harm down to communities, it could not be even more real than this.

The Kansas Reflector also made national news for their coverage of the Mario County Record newspaper raid, which their local sheriff's department unlawfully raided. So not your average paper to target or accidentally block.

I missed the first half of this and look forward to going back to it to re-watch it from the start.

I love that the program team (@drewbrew and @coderanger) included a few test talks this year. I've been working on getting our QA team to attend and submit talks. Next year, they might!

I took plenty of me time.

Aside from organizing, and seeing talks, and catching up with old friends, and talking to new friends... I made sure to have lunch by myself all three days. The vegan options from the caterer were nonexistent, probably because it's such a small conference.

But downtown, we have PLENTY of vegan options so I hit up Neomonde twice and Happy + Hale once.

My coworkers and I grabbed bagels with Caktus and it was fun to catch up with them. They've been helping our team out on test automation and some other things, quite a bit!

Although I was running on steam, I managed to wake up early on Wednesday to clean the house while Tom, my partner, ran out to get some local bagels (we like bagels, clearly) at Everything Bagels.

A crew from my old workplace, Wharton @ Penn, came over that morning to enjoy the spread, see my new house, and go for a walk on our trail. It was LOVELY.

Again, program team, well done!

I really enjoyed the final panel, especially hearing from my old mentor Charles and my friend and my warmest welcoming voice in NC, Julia.

That was a wrap on 🐂 . I helped clean up, then went home and sacked out on my couch. 🛋️ 📺

I am looking forward to the YouTube videos because I have a list to rewatch and share!
