We have to test some new chat things on the channel, and to do the testing smoke will be live tomorrow with a pop up stream of Hearthstone.

@dotsonapage I haven’t touched another iOS client with a 10 foot pole. I tried several before I found this one, and they fried my brain. I don’t want to swipe four times just to get from post to post.

@dotsonapage @ZBennoui yes, it does, and I’ll probably be heading over there full-time the minute they get a Jeopardy community. That’s the only thing holding me where I am now. I love those people because they’ve just been so awesome.

I just bumped the following bug in iOS 17 beta two. Basically what happens is when you're editing and you go to swipe up and down once you turn the rotor to edit, you cannot until you select the field go to cut copy paste, etc., same when you're in characters, words, etc.

FB12257410 (Sometimes, when deleting a character voiceover will not voice the characters I’m swiping over when I swipe up and down when characters is elected in the rotor)

@ke7zum good that more than one person reported it. Hopefully it means they’ll be less likely to ignore it. It’s kind of annoying.

I didn’t realize just how much time I spent on Reddit until going without it became something I ended up doing. Longest two weeks of my life. When I can’t find anything to do, I’ll sit there and scroll through reading stuff from stupid people. I would switch to Quora if they had accessible stuff.

@glaroc if they’re not, they definitely need to be. I can’t even add an instrumental track to the video I’m trying to make, so the video isn’t getting made because it needs some kind of audio aside from the text to speech that’s going to be reading the text running across the screen.

@glaroc for searching, and actually watching stuff, we’ve got zip. Creation works as long as you don’t need to do the thing most creators need to do, add sounds.

I seriously hope the pronunciations global to all of Apple’s synthesizers are in a fairly easy to edit format. I want to fix this damn emoji pronunciation. I’ve already unsealed my system volume to modify my eloquence Dictionaries, you can run, but not hide. Do not underestimate my determination to make my synthesizer sound right!

@TheQuinbox how are you doing that? I didn’t think you could jailbreak anything past iOS 14, and surely not 17 considering it’s still in beta.
