Unpopular opinion - one day I believe we will find, like that cat poo coffee that everyone used to drink - that letting wine breathe is a big old load of nonsense, made up to sell aerators.
@heurism That makes sense - like the dark side, but without the darkness. If your thing is trying to "maintain a following", it takes more work here.
I guess it depends what you want out of social media. I like the "social" bit, personally 😊
@heurism In almost a year of being here, I can honestly say I haven't found it like that at all.
No experience of Bluesky and no intention of trying it. I've heard it's not really getting off the ground and the "queue to get in" is looooooong.
While many would agree that A-levels are too narrowly focussed, the move to a baccalaureate system without significant reform of the rest of the system would be a disaster;
and reforming the rest of a system currently in crisis & with a lack of goodwill from #Teachers sounds more like another swing of the wrecking ball rather than a real desire to improve the UK's #education
@TheBreadmonkey The 90s really were that good, eh? If anything, I wish I'd done more, even though I did my fair share (and probably a few other people's share too) 😂
This particular tune is definitely in the category of "driving round the M25 to look for the field where the party is this week then dancing til your feet bleed" for me.
@Heliograph I love the smell of petrichor in the morning 😂
Actually pretty rubbish all told but it's picked up in the last few hours, just in time for bed!
Is the BBC actually trying to do something about the massive outflux of viewers/listeners to its news output? Robbo gave Sunak a hard time on the Today programme, yes - but you should really watch the absolute BATTERING Robert Jenrick got from Vic Derbyshire on Newsnight last night. A proper masterclass. #UKPolitics#Newsnight#BBC#UKNews
Why the fuck is this guy still working at Downing Street AT ALL??? 🤬🤬🤬 #UKPolitics
