@JackTheCat I hear you. That post incident high alert phase is grim. I had one sprint across the duvet while I was reading in bed last week. Thankfully the yelps of shock stunned it into not moving long enough for me to squish it with a slipper 😂

@JackTheCat I kept my moka for just such an emergency but I fear I may have stored it in the shed. I'm not dealing with that as well.
I'm just about to buy a spare machine as well - please remind me not to make the same storage related mistake when it arrives 😄

I read a really interesting biography of hers a few months' back too. I think you'd enjoy it.

Top tip: put one behind your knees if you're on the sofa. Magic.

1987.
It would have been abandoned comprehensively were it anywhere other than London, I'm sure of it.
