@sim tbf even though i have a much more leftist view on it but why i am asking this question is google.

when u google "pride" u get some easteregg with a crowd and bunch of flags. not all the time but most of the time.

while this might be a nice sign of support and everything i remember google firing 50 people 2 months ago because "work is no place for politics"

sure the background was the google israel military deal. a much more controverse topic.

but in this context this seems to be a case of very blatant virtue signalling.

orrrrr google workers try to be as political as the bosses allow them to be.

this post was about racism/far right in germany and i dont value the vw work councils statement.

they practically said they care about me (someone who doesnt "look" german)
because it is good for the economy. not because of philosophy or values (well besides money/job security).

i think values like inclusion of lgbtq folks and anti racism should be unconditionally. otherwise they are worthless.

when i think about good representation of lgbtq folks i think of star trek not of disney. because star trek did it when it wasnt opportune.

@leyrer yeah but we need to keep people able to fight the goverment and educate themself from foreign sources

english is important for the people to have other news sources than those controlled by the goverment i think. ofc this is more longterm

going to the doctor is annoying and rarely gives immediate fixes. not going on the other hand makes it better over time usually, until it doesnt ofc.

hope it is nothing. he should get a small professional checkup and headpat his daughter.

though i am lazy aswell regarding going to doctors. when i had an eye inflammation i went to the apothecary and it was enough^^
