@decryption about a decade ago I DIYd my own by taking advantage of my bank's SMS balance feature. I had Tasker text my bank every morning and afternoon, pull the balance out of the reply and put it on a widget on my homescreen

Just went through and organized my Home Assistant automations. Since we don't have folders yet, I had to make my own with text. I don't even have that many, but it was such a pain. Any word on some way to better organize these? I'm tempted to move them all into Node Red or somewhere, just for better organization.

Yes Home Assistant desperately needs folders for automatons. I'm slowly moving mine out of NodeRed and i'm struggling to keep track of them all

This was a real nostalgia rush. CyanogenMod felt like the coolest thing on my HTC DesireHD back in the day. And I'm still running LineageOS on a couple devices today.

@decryption it has allowed me to repurpose a decade+ old Samsung tablet as a wallmounted Home Assistant dashboard. It'd be pretty rubbish as an everyday device, but as a dashboard I interact with maybe a few times a week it's perfect

Barbara’s descent into the world of QAnon through the deceptive innocence of Pepe the Frog is a stark warning about the pervasive power of digital culture.

We face a growing need to critically examine meme literacy and how online content, as trivial as it may seem, can have profound real-world consequences.
