#Today I have participated in boot Yoga🥴2 different classes. I couldn’t finish the 2nd class, her voice was annoying 🤭 but the 1st class was beneficial. I’ve been exploring different yoga classes everyday.

I’ve been keeping up with my meditation at least once a day to maintain my sanity. I practiced meditation for yrs, but fell out of practice and became lazy.

It’s a gorgeous day here in the woodlands of MO🌞

The heated water bowl is popular with the squirrels, birds and later on, opossums. It needs refilling from evaporation daily.
My husband saw 14 cardinals earlier but he’s not a picture taker.
It’s 10F -12C and lightly snowing. We have accumulated
only a small amount of snow.
Hopefully, you all can enjoy a warm and cozy Saturday night or Sunday morning.

Happy #DGSIF or for many #TGIF!
It’s suppose to be a moderate temperature low humidity #Today here in the woodlands of MO.
No plans other than a full workout.
Yesterday’s visit to the acupuncturist was an experience. Deep massage to the affected painful area and dry needling. 7 needles inserted 3 inches deep into butt muscle😬Surprisingly, it was just uncomfortable but not painful (natural childbirth is painful) The procedure took 15 min.
I return on Mon. I wasn’t sore this Am.

#Today is #TGIF or for us retired folks #DGSIF😁
I slept until almost 8am and the temp was 58F 14C 😳
Our cabin is closed up because of allergies but the cathouse has the windows open and they have their coats on 😼but it was chilly and their ears were cold.
I’m sitting here with Dude asleep on my lap watching the flying monkeys fight amongst themselves because that’s what they do 🥴 We still have hummers visiting the feeders.
No special plans await me today, I will enjoy the outdoors.

Hello Masto friends!
I really #DGSIF but some do so #TGIF for you all.
I woke up refreshed at 7:15am, didn’t sib because Dude was at the door using his words, and if he’s using his words he’s deathly hungry 😂
The cold front has arrived 😁 48F 8C. I grabbed my fleecy cozy jacket to go outside to feed the critters. I must remember to hang the cozy jacket up and not on a chair where it will be confiscated for days on end by one of the felines.
So far so good from vaccine🤞No plans #Today.

Good day Masto friends.
#Today we’ll be venturing homeward bound from another successful GBB weekend. I’m looking forward to seeing my boys, 3 fur boys and one Homo sapien male who kept the party going while I was away 🤗
Temperatures are milder, high 82F 28C and 🌞
We’ll shove off around 11am but like children’s bedtime we stall all the way home. A 2 hr drive will stretch to 5 hrs and a stop to visit an old colleague.
Our pool time would be a nice addition, but can’t count on it🫠

It’s Monday morning at this ice skating rink in the woodlands of MO.
It is 29F -1C and a solid sheet of ice! My handy YakTrax proved once again the ice won’t defeat me. It’s like having claws on the bottom on my sneakers. 😼
I’m waiting to hear from all of the kids and hoping they make it to their destinations this morning.

#Today I’m up early at 6am and temperature is warmer than yesterday at 30F -1C.
I’m heading out to the Vet for Cato’s dental cleaning. There will be morning traffic. And there will be soprano music from my sweet boy Cato. Of the three we transported to the Vet, and the 3 part harmony, he had the highest pitch. Maybe he’ll treat me to some Gaga. He will stay there all day.

Good day Masto friends!
I’m enjoying my weekend with long time friends at the lake. I tooted late last night about our day.
It’s time for my walk 🙌 we plan to listen to live music at a winery venue this afternoon after lunch at Rizzo’s.
One of the girls forgot jammies, I told her she’d have to sleep Jette style 🤭 she said NO. One year we had to bunk together, I promised to wear “something” but through the night I reneged on my promise. That morning to her surprise…
We peed laughing 😂 🤣

Still at Urgent Care but X-rays reveal ankle is fractured in 2 places. They going to put on a cast soon. My hand is not fx but sprained and wrapped. I’ll post more later.

I just friggin fell and my ankle/foot went backwards. It’s already swollen. Damn it haven even had a martini yet. Now I need Advil and it won’t be good for my stomach if I drink🤬

Yesterday evening I abruptly suffered the repercussions of a nasty GI virus. It definitely was not food poisoning. How can I describe delicately how intense it was at both ends,sorry🤮
I haven’t been sick at all since 2019.
In the wee hours of the morning our tornado notifications blared from our phones. We were up, grabbed Dude and I hunkered down in my safe place, hubs was checking the high winds outside🙄
Then we heard a crash, a 30 ft tree blew down on the corner of our 3 car garage.

The fallen oat tree damaging the corner of the roof and above garage deck. The fork of the 30ft tree is visible.
Same oak tree extending over the steps. It didn’t damage the steps to the what we call The Treehouse Loft.

#Today we’re enjoying this beautiful weather bestowed upon us for the last couple of weeks😁 Its 55F 13C and warming up nicely in the woodlands of MO.

The adult kids have an overnight party here Sat with friends. We have a couple we’ve only met once staying in the guest room. So, we will be tackling the guest room 1st with our cleaning fest. Small cabin=less work! The others will be in the bunkhouse above the garage+3 dogs, I will meet the GS puppy they fostered for the first time.🐶❤️
