The difficulty is finding the instances ^^

So I only browse my subscribed ones which are all in English, German, Polish and Swedish. On the Korean one it looks like I’m the only one posting there ^^

Hm perhaps I’m missing out on some Australian content? Any tiops on communities?

I guess the content from China is mostly in Chinese?

Yeah it started with work, I was here for a 3 month business trip. But then I met someone here and asked to be sent on another and one more business trip :D But because it was during Covid I had to stay 2 weeks in quarantine every time I went back to Sweden to renew my visa ^^. (see my quarantine vlog: tube.jeena.net/w/p/qG3KZrSACw4QvTQ23prqXR )

After in sum 2 months in quarantine I asked them to move me to the Korean office ( see: tube.jeena.net/w/uuQegxjHagGpHhXXDMBGJg ) , that was 3 years ago and we have a one year old son by now already ^^.

You can do that already, I’m doing it very often.

On the Desktop go to reader mode and click the play button.

On Android I use play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hyperio… just share any website with it and it starts reading it.

We are approaching the use of AI in Firefox — which many, many of you have been asking about

Which one of you was it, who asked for AI in Firefox???

Yeah, IF only the poor stopped polluting we could save everyone.

jeena, to china in Censored: Last week, a writer on China's WeChat bemouned that a large part of information from the country's domestic internet had disappeared. Within hours, the writer's post had vanished too.
@jeena@jemmy.jeena.net avatar

I remember back in the day when modems were slow you could buy a CD with the Wikipedia on it, or a DVD with all the internet, and things like that. I wonder if some the Chinese have ways of getting information offline like that today too.

For some reason you’re suggesting us to believe that your wife and kids do the maintainance of the windows machines like finding GPU driversbut couldn’t do it for Linux machines.

I did what the parent waz talking about to 3 children and 2 Seniors and one middle aged guy.

One child complained that he couldn’t install windows games his peers were playing but other than that no complains.

I installed Ubuntu on older laptops, made sure everything works. Turned on auto updates and installed VNC server software if help would be necessary.

I also have one person with windows I help remotely.

The only difference for me is that the windows user somehow constantly has some bullshit extensions or something which change the browser behavior.

Practically the only thing those people use is a browser.

Oh and nobody has a discrete graphics card which would require a driver. Each of those laptops worked fine from scratch, no hardware problems.
