The new Slack design is an act of pure evil. It now has 4 different inboxes hidden throughout the app. The badge will always say you have something unread, no matter how furiously you click around. The new design ensures you'll never be quite sure if you've followed up on something important.

Increasing anxiety and increasing engagement. I hate it.

    @schwa on the other hand, I’ll never get tired of someone reproducing a bug and then making a flourish with their hands to emphasize it.

    It’s as if to say, “Behold! A bug.” A little joy to come along with the sting of broken software.

    Whatever directive that has come from above that demands Apple Store employees form a line and cheer customers for buying the latest thing should be rescinded.

    It reads as needy at best and desperate at worst. A horrible idea. An experience that I would hate to be a part of.

    Insincerity is the exact opposite of what Apple stores should be about.

    Are there any #ios developers here who might be able to tell me whether programs for current iOS can interact with external devices that provide serial I/O over USB; such devices would be connected to an iPhone/iPad using Apple's Lightning to USB OTG cable? Or is the MFI programme the only way to do this? #ObjectiveC #Swift #USB #iPhone #iPad #Apple (This is for a #HamRadio project). Thanks in advance!
