The new Slack design is an act of pure evil. It now has 4 different inboxes hidden throughout the app. The badge will always say you have something unread, no matter how furiously you click around. The new design ensures you'll never be quite sure if you've followed up on something important.
Increasing anxiety and increasing engagement. I hate it.
