Em 2021/2022, o pessoal do Melo tava indo nas rádios falar como tinha conseguido, com a ajuda do governo federal (coff coff Salnorrabo coff coff) um empréstimo de 80 milhões a juros baixíssimos.

Agora tá querendo não pagar a dívida.

Deputa Van Hato votou a favor de todas as emendas que reduziam o espaço de mata nativa que passaram pelo congresso.

Mas agora, com as enchentes, fez um projeto de anistia da dívida do RS, que não passou.

Quer ver como ele vai usar só o último fato nas próximas eleições?

It may look weird that, when everybody managed to work remotely to escape the chaos in the city, I decided to stay and come to office every day.

My gaming computer is lagging horribly, the disk led is completely on (not blinking) and checking the Task manager says that the process abusing my storage is: "System".

I kid you know, it is just "System". And can't be killed.

I have to say, this Das Keyboard is almost 10 years old, got sunk in an ocean over the years and, apart from one single key not working anymore (right ctrl), it is still fine.

My cynical view of Python:

Python is going to die. Not today, not tomorrow, but it will not be a lasting language like C, C++ or Java.

The main issue is that Python is, right now, the front-end of C/C++: You want to generate statistics about something: Python has the libraries! -- but these libraries are in C++. Do you want to handle IA: Python has the libraries! -- but these libraries are also in C++.

If, sometime, the C++ committee wakes up and decide to clean up their act and make the language syntax simpler, Python would die.

"Oh, C++ will never be user friendly." Look at Java, compare its version 2 (e.g. Java 1.2) to the current language: It is astonishingly easier to use modern Java compared to the old ones. And that took something like 10 years.

It just takes someone wanting to create a library that it is really pretty and easy to read in C++ to completely obliterate Python.

Unless Python wakes up and decide "You know, we need that those things where Python are used to be written in pure Python", I truly believe it will be run-over some small change.

I'd like to emphasize "Provisional cities".

The number of people who lost their houses is so high that the government is creating cities just for those.

@hugoestr Heavy rains over the state. Some cities were under 3m underwater when the rivers flooded, and most of those rivers flow towards the capital (where I live).

A nearby city of 40.000 people is completely underwater, leaving all them homeless.

Ebab Moinhos de Vento volta funcionar

(depois de um dia inteiro de trabalho sem parar do Dmae)

O sistema Moinhos de Vento abastece 7 hospitais, que no momento estavam recebendo água através de caminhões pipa.

Esses dias, pra tirar a cabeça do estado que tá o estado, eu olho os vídeos da GoPro da viagem que eu fiz por última (que terminou exatamente quando o temporal caiu em Porto Alegre).

E, por algum motivo, me dá uma sensação de "eu nunca mais vou conseguir fazer esse tipo de viagem".
