The writing seems fine to me but I’m Irish and familiar with the case. There’s an assumption of that familiarity in the writing (it’s been in the news here for a long time) so coming in cold it’s definitely going to read a bit stilted.
The issue is removing infrastructure on your own personal whims when it goes against what your own tax payers are paying for, especially when they have funded your company / companies. It’s obscene.
