I second this. I only started smoking again a while back to stop migraines. Oddly enough, daily smoking has mostly prevented migraines from occurring.

I may need to try that. I wonder if taking CBG daily would be a better preventative (and cheaper) than just buying certain strains.

Have you contacted the dev? Also, App Store version or beta?

I’m using the current App Store version and can edit posts, etc. Everything seems to be functioning smoothly here.

I second Ice Cubes. I would recommend Mammoth as well, but feed loading can be super slow.

The official app loads super fast, but way too many limitations IMHO.

Wow, sounds like people are being pretty harsh about bugs while using beta software. That’s pretty lame.

Not only is it free, but they’ve chosen to use the beta, while the stable build is available.

Anyway, great job on the app, guys. It’s one of the primary reasons I regularly use Lemmy now!

I’ve been loving Lemmy and mastodon and feel they are coming along as good replacements for Reddit and Twitter. Decided not to stay an extra day in D.C. to sightsee the next morning. Went back home on 9/10.

The next day, 9/11 happened. Not that it would’ve gotten me killed, but man… it was a freaky thing.

Has Memmy lost its character?

With the recent updates Memmy has changed drastically and is very different from what it was just a week or two ago. The removal of the traversal feed, and the major rework of most of the ui, has made the app feel a lot more like Apollo. I think it’s just evolving into a more fluid app, with some primary features (like community navigation) becoming more user-friendly.

There are also some bigger changes upcoming, from what I’ve read, which will make it a more diverse app overall. I, for one, am looking forward to this.

A clear victory for the free fediverse: Meta now says integrating with ActivityPub is "a long way out" (privacy.thenexus.today)

When Meta launched their new Twitter competitor Threads on July 5, they said that it would be compatible with the ActivityPub protocol, Mastodon, and all the other decentralized social networks in the fediverse "soon"....

Ugh, I’m sorry. I have a few of my own stories as well, which is what prompted this post. I just wish everyone could realize how lame it is to be so negative all the time towards others.
