the greatest blogging engine ever: Blosxom. i will not be taking replies to this post thank you.

god can we please just give the "____ lives matter" slogan back to American black people? can we stop appropriating that slogan in a million different ways? can they have just one thing? plenty of other slogans out there. i know you can be creative.

oh. apparenlty we're not getting the spam messages because they're targeted at people with around 5k followers. cheers to being unpopular!

logoninternet,

@oblomov yea I'm not sure what i said is 100% true based off other replies I'm getting. just a guy looking for patterns here folks can you blame me.

tired: why'd this person unfollow me? 😭
wired: people can follow or not follow. it's fine.
inspired: i wouldn't follow me either.

ok i am starting to understand the feel of the apple vision pro. it's basically the playstation VR's "cinema mode," except instead of happening inside a completely dark space, it sets the background to be all the other artifacts of consumerism scattered about your house.

logoninternet,

these excessive cutscenes are making me call for the death of the author ngl

logoninternet,

if only we all could direct our fetishes into a game that sells 10 million copies tbh

logoninternet,

the most cringe object as metaphor to possibly use in any narrative today is a dreamcatcher

logoninternet,

just realized i have been posting my thoughts about death stranding below my apple vision toot. gonna leave it.

the big tell about the AI bubble will be the number of superbowl commercials about AI. nothing predicts a bubble better.

the human eye can perceive over 500 shades of grey. idk what that 50 shades movie is about but it's obviously full of shit.

here's the most mind blowing video game fact I know. when i heard this my world was shook. 10+ years of thinking i knew a videogame was thrown out the door:

in doom, after you pick up a berserk pack, your punch remains powered up until the level ends. it's not just for the period where the screen is red.

when you agree to (or ignore) a GPL, do you believe you own the software?

logoninternet,

asking this to the nerds mad at Ubisoft for admitting you don't own a game

logoninternet,

first of all, and this is very important, DHH is a fucking shithead bullshitter and if I ever met him in real life I'd punch him in the face with zero hesitation. nothing this man has written or done is good or intelligent.

second, this stack he is talking about is complicated, actually. i like how he acts like kuberbetes, just a way to manage containers, is the one thing holding it back from being complicated. fucking idiot.

third, bascamp is terrible software no one likes using. NO ONE.

something that reminds me of the people on this website: when the tunnel lady and her encourage-ers refer to her as an "engineer," even though she is actually just a software engineer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6yOEwSzADo

imagine not knowing the real cause of the Boeing aircraft issues were high executive salaries.

so in October Gmail started rejecting mail from unauthorized senders (https://blog.google/products/gmail/gmail-security-authentication-spam-protection/) and let me tell you there's a LOT of MAJOR (and minor) companies that are not getting their messages in people's inboxes because they don't have those DKIM records set up. also pretty much anything that will "email" something on your behalf, using your own email in the From header, is getting blocked by Gmail rn.

logoninternet,

so, whose day or week is currently being fucked by this? :)

logoninternet,

My company works with a lot of artists who have their own domain names and send email from them, and I'm having to let their emails through quarantine every day. There's nothing I can do about it.
