Shortly after making a rat bite joke On Here, Bitey Boy here got one of my fingers good. Sweet, tantalizing fingers. I just reached into his space without thinking. Luckily he missed important finger parts.

It's been about two months since my heart rat Sammy passed, and it still hurts. I never really connected with any of the other rats on the same level that I felt connected with Sammy, but his big brother Midnight here is stepping it up with the affection and snuggles.

I feel like he's carrying around a little piece of Sammy's soul. Like Sammy, Midnight is a black agouti and smells like pumpkin spice. Look out dude, you're in the running for new heart rat!
