I'm happy a General Election is on the way. I am not a natural Labour voter, but unless information changes, I will be voting Labour as that's the most likely path to unseating @JuliaLopezMP, my Tory incumbent.

@revk Got the SIP2SIM thing and inbound and outbound seem to be working.

Outbound SMSs seem to work, but inbound messages result in a call from BT's SMS delivery system.

Did I miss a setting?

@revk Yes, landline number, and a google phone.

Not a huge problem, this is a secondary device to keep $contract stuff away from my personal phone.

I don't know if it's still here, but when I was installed new front end load balancers for the Guardian's website, I set them to add the following header to every page served.

X-Clacks-Overhead: "GNU Terry Pratchett"

I also added this header to every email processed by the commercial junk mail filtering service I ran for nearly 20 years.

My current contract who use google apps have extended my contract. For reasons of "keeping g* crap off my personal phone" I have, for only the second time ever, ordered an android phone.

I'm going to pair it with an e-sim thingy from @revk. Will be interesting having a VOIP eSIM with a landline-looking number on a mobile device.

Don't worry, I've not gone mad, I could just benefit from using something google-native for my current contract. I don't think the ecosystem is any good.

This is unexpected…
I took panels off the hot tub ready for new heat pump install work.
The heating has run almost 100% since. Maybe 80% now.
So the panels matter. I had no idea how much!
So now I think adding more, some celotex, to the panels may help even more.

I don't envy any police officer working in these circumstances but this bloke needs to give his head a wobble.

If peacefully and lawfully walking around while looking jewish is likely to cause a breach of the peace then the police should be looking carefully at why that's the case.

@revk It works very inconsistently for me. Sometimes it'll drop me into a rename tile immediately, others it does nothing until I click away, do something else, and come back.

Leaving my inverter in the hands of my own code overnight. There are <9p slots interspersed with >9p. If my code works, it should charge only during the <9p slots.

@bazcurtis It mostly worked, stray setting on SA interfered a little bit.

I'm on Octopus Agile so I can get rate data in advance for opportunistic charging. Not yet figured out how to detect and opt-in to saving sessions programatically.
