Sooooo Pokémon Scarlet runs so poorly in my Switch that it’s genuinely hard for me to enjoy any of it.

A little birdie tells me it runs at a locked 30fps at 4K on a PC with my exact specs and is a meaningfully better experience…

Switch 2 can not get here soon enough, if just to let current gen Switch games actually run smoothly 😅

@ChristinWhite Thank you! Is there anything specific in the current site that would make it not work for books or games? I know some people are using it for those and they generally work with the title/author/review format, but I’m game to try and make it work for more use cases!

Update on my wife’s feelings using a MacBook Air:

  • Unprompted, told me the battery life was insane

FURIOSA: A MAD MAX SAGA - A sprawling epic that takes a great path towards prequel success: creating brand new characters we’ve never met before and making us give a shit about them.

Set your expectations: this isn’t structured at all like FURY ROAD. It’s much more ambitious with a great deal more lore and world building.

Breathtaking action. Anya-Taylor Joy is magnificent. What a theatrical experience!

The trailer made me think this going to be relatively more of the same, but when the same is some of the most spectacular filmmaking I've ever seen, I was game for another serving, myself. The fact it seems to be even more than that is just 👌😁
