We have addressed the immediate issue - search should run smoothly for the time being. We will be looking into the underlying issues in the next few days, if we don’t get the new cluster up before then (which was already in progress, as luck would have it) -a

@ampache @dogmazic @wjmaggos @errhead You can ‘seed’ information to MusicBrainz, but we do not allow data addition without human verification. Seeding/import examples: https://wiki.musicbrainz.org/Guides/Userscripts#Userscripts:_Importers

We allow some simple, verified, bots: https://beta.musicbrainz.org/doc/Code_of_Conduct/Bots

And simplifying user actions is okay also. For instance, adding functionality to a player that lets the user submit tags (or CC relationships!) for selected tracks/albums to MB.

There may be other ways as well.

If you have a library with MBID’s already (accurately) assigned, and the licence is defined in your tags/database somewhere, then that is a good example of something that could be automated - setting recording or album cc relationships from tags. -a
