Looking back on #emfcamp, I don't know if anyone else noticed, but as far as I could see there were no LLM or GenAI demos, and I didn't have any conversations about AI/ML with anyone.
Actually, I take it back, there was a really cool video GenAI in the Null Sector. But still...

I've been wondering what the real reason that #Threads intends to support #activitypub .
My current theory is that by associating with an open federated system, with account portability, Meta hopes to be able to evade monopoly regulation from the EU and others.

What does the team think?
