@ploum @codimp @sebsauvage Non faut arrêter là. Ça fait depuis hier qu'on explique pourquoi non seulement c'est pas vrai qu'il est seul sur le créneau mais qu'en plus il y est aujourd'hui nocif. La FSF est pourrie par sa personnalité. Des personnes capables de parler du libre aussi bien et même mieux que lui il y en a plein.

@krazykitty @sebsauvage L'article est intéressant mais le titre est particulièrement mal choisi. On a pas besoin de plus de RMS. Du tout. Aujourd'hui on a en clairement besoin de moins, y compris en ce qui concerne spécifiquement le logiciel libre, pas seulement pour des questions d'inclusivité (alors que celles-ci sont déjà suffisamment importantes pour le disqualifier).

@ploum @f4grx @anthk Given the number of people sharing their bad-to-horrible first-hand experience with him, that is quite surprising, but it's cool to see that you acknowledge it immediately.

Problematic behaviors concerning RMS also exist directly with the FSF itself as I explained in my answer to your initial toot. What I've been through during their board member recruitment process was properly atrocious (repeated lies, denial of reality, attacks on other organizations such as April, etc).

@ploum @f4grx @anthk To put it simply, the very reason I was ejected from the process is my refusal to stop having anything to do with @aprilorg because of its position concerning RMS return to the FSF board and how it was orchestrated and announced at Libre planet without the organizers knowledge etc. And that was accompanied by lies about what April's former head would have declared (including a death wish he of course never made).

@ploum @f4grx @anthk All that said, the content of ploum's article is right, and RMS was right and continues to be on a lot of things. But the free software movement is bigger than him, and more important than any single individual.

May the FSF recover from this asap and be able to continue its important mission for our collective freedom.

Mais sérieusement quel abruti… De où c'est de la récup ? L'antifascisme, c'est un combat de l'extrême gauche depuis toujours. Et sur cette affaire, cette gauche était bien seule à (ré)agir depuis le début… !
Qu'il aille se faire voir, on sera toujours là contre les fachos, même pour les clampins comme lui.

Prochaine mobilisation nationale le 6 juin, soit deux jours avant l'étude de la proposition de loi centriste pour abolir la réforme des .
On a donc un gros mois pour construire une mobilisation énorme ce jour là, notamment en multipliant partout et tous les jours les actions d'ici là pour que la pression de retombe pas dans la cocotte minute !

So I’m watching over on they’ve “realised” they can train their own model for content moderation and are laughing because it’s flagged up “pestilence” as a word indicating a problematic post. Now I’m no ML whiz but surely they’re going to need a boatload of human work to get this going (tagging, testing, retraining) and it’s not just something to “mess around with” live as they seem to be doing?
