How long before Microsoft Recall is weaponized to “protect the children”? To find people violating some abortion ban? Used as a fishing expedition for legal discovery?

Yes there’s a kernel of an interesting concept there, but it was implement either absolute unaware, or complete contravening all basic ideas of trust and safety.

This is the fundamental problem with “AI” as it is pushed today. It is either actively evil or negligently malicious.
